24-card set issued in 1912 with Honest Long Cut and Miners Extra brands. Notoriously difficult to find in better than VG; most examples have creases or staining or both. The four baseball players (Cobb, Marquard, Baker, Bender) are always in big demand and the boxers are right behind them, but it’s the other champions cards that are much harder to locate.
David Bruce-Brown, a driver, and C.P. Rodgers, an aviator, both died in 1912 and their cards stopped being issued. These are true rarities and go for big money when available.
