By far, N189 was Kimball’s best output among the roughly 20 sets they issued, with great lithography and subjects. The set name is curious (i.e., why were they only “semi” barbarous?) and, of course, offensive, although probably not something that would bother a 19th c. type. There are 10 or so American Indians included. I’m now missing just one subject (Dabularzi).
