The N151 set issued by Duke in the late 1880’s contains hundred of actresses, clergy, politicans, authors, and other celebrities. Included in this massive set is a sub-group of 10 New York City policemen, all of whom also appear in the N288 Police & Fire Chiefs set. As shown below, the photos used for their N151’s became the basis of the lithographic drawings in N288.
